Students at Belvedere Elementary School in West Pam Beach continue to “go for the gold” in academics—and it’s paying off. Their efforts during class and home-work related assignments show the proof. A recognition breakfast and ceremony are set for Thursday, March 10 to recognize 52 of the school’s 1-5 graders who earned straight A’s on their report cards during the second trimester—earning them slots on the Principal’s Honor Roll. The high achievers will receive custom-made medals and certificates from the Belvedere PTA. The students and their parents will also be treated to an interactive dance performed by third grade students under the direction of Island Moving Company.

The district and schools continue to work diligently to improve student learning gains and increase student capacity for academic rigor. For more details about the event or about strategies utilized by teachers that contribute to these results, contact Donna Stipek at or call 561-838-5941.
